Heyo! Hope yall had a great year! This is just a quick recap of the few things I got done this year creatively. To tell the truth there was a lot more I wish I could have finished up for this year, but i'm happy with the couple of things I did accomplish:

Jamuary

In January 2023, I decided to try out the Jamuary challenge and make a song every day for 31 days. It was super interesting to work out how to make a whole track every day, and it surprised me how much time I actually had despite my other obligations. Overall it was a worthwhile experience but I don't think i'll be trying it again anytime soon, as it took away from a lot of my output for the rest of the year.

Art Inspired Music

This year I decided to try the Art Inspired Music contest again, since last doing so in 2020. Sate's awesome abstract work rly inspired some wacky IDM beats outta me, inspired by the likes of Aphex Twin and Autechre

Made a quick bubbly video game tune with my bud @PredatorMusic with some fun vocal chopping and sampling:

Sewer Surge

And finally, my last project before 2023 is a spruced up Drum n Bass track inspired by Zircon, Pendulum and Waterflame, with some chiptuny videogame elements. This is also the second music video that i've made almost entirely in Blender. It really helped spruce up my 3D skills, and being able to create an entire scene from scratch to fit the music is such a rad feeling. Check out the music vid / song below! Aaaaand that's pretty much it. I really wanted to get another full album or EP out this year but it just wasn't in the cards. Although I didn't accomplish as much as I wanted i'm hopeful that with the stuff I still learned that 2024 will be great nonetheless.
